THE MODEL
What is Still-Motion Studio?
Still-Motion Studio is a specialist cinematic production studio creating product films and modular campaign assets inside three established Worlds: Coastal, Urban, and Countryside.
Brands may commission one finished cinematic film or license a broader collection of modular motion and still assets for ongoing campaign use.
How does World Licensing work?
Clients select one World, two Worlds, or the full Still-Motion Studio Universe through fixed pricing tiers with defined deliverables, timelines, and standard digital commercial usage rights.
Still-Motion Studio integrates one approved product into the selected World or Worlds and delivers a coordinated collection of modular cinematic clips, atmosphere loops, and high-resolution still imagery.
What is the difference between a commissioned film and a World License?
A commissioned film provides one completed, studio-directed cinematic product film in either landscape or vertical format.
A World License provides a broader modular asset collection consisting of individual cinematic clips, atmosphere loops, and still imagery that can be used flexibly across multiple campaign placements.
Do you offer custom Worlds or bespoke environments?
World Licensing operates exclusively within Still-Motion Studio’s established Coastal, Urban, and Countryside Worlds. Custom World development and client-directed bespoke environments are not included in the standard licensing model.
Brands seeking one focused finished film may instead explore our commissioned-film options.
PRODUCT & CREATIVE PROCESS
What products can be integrated?
Many premium consumer products can be integrated, including fashion, accessories, fragrance, beauty products, spirits, home goods, technology, outdoor gear, and lifestyle products.
Products with unusually complex geometry, transparency, reflections, liquids, intricate labels, or very small details may require additional review before production begins.
Can a license include multiple products?
Each standard license includes one approved product.
An additional product may be integrated into one licensed World through an add-on beginning at $1,500. Additional-product integration across multiple Worlds is scoped and quoted separately.
What materials do I need to provide?
Clients provide product reference images and intake information including the selected World or Worlds, intended campaign use, preferred overall tone, approved brand guidelines, and any applicable product details.
For optimal integration quality, product images should ideally include:
- High-resolution imagery, preferably 3000 pixels or greater
- Even lighting with minimal harsh shadows
- Neutral or simple backgrounds when possible
- Clearly visible product edges, packaging, labels, and details
- Multiple product angles when available
- Transparent PNG files when available, although they are not required
The quality and completeness of submitted product materials directly affect the fidelity and detail of the final integrations.
Still-Motion Studio may request replacement images, additional angles, or supporting product references before accepting the project for production.
Do I review anything before the full asset collection is completed?
Yes. Before completing the full licensed asset collection, Still-Motion Studio provides a Preview Review consisting of two still images and one cinematic clip from the selected World.
The Preview Review confirms product fit, integration quality, scale, placement, and overall visual direction before the remaining licensed assets are completed.
It is not a custom concept-development phase, storyboard review, or open-ended creative approval process.
One corrective pass is included at the Preview Review stage to address product fidelity, scale, placement, obvious technical concerns, or a clear deviation from the approved intake.
Feedback is requested within two business days. If no feedback is received within that period, the preview direction will be treated as confirmed and production will continue.
Are revisions included?
Each license includes one consolidated corrective pass at the Preview Review stage.
The corrective pass is limited to product-integration concerns such as scale, placement, fidelity, factual inaccuracies, or obvious technical issues.
It does not include a different World, new creative direction, alternate concepts, new characters, styling changes, storyboards, campaign strategy, or open-ended art direction.
Once the Preview Review direction is confirmed, Still-Motion Studio completes the remaining assets within the approved license scope.
How do client review periods affect delivery timelines?
Delivery timelines are based on active production time and begin after the completed intake, all required product files, and supporting brand materials have been received, reviewed, and accepted by Still-Motion Studio.
Delayed feedback, incomplete intake information, missing product files, replacement materials, or a requested corrective pass may extend the final delivery date.
Preview Review feedback is requested within two business days. If no feedback is received within that period, the preview direction will be treated as confirmed and production will continue.
What is the typical delivery timeline?
World and Dual World Licenses are typically delivered within 10 business days of active production time.
Universe Licenses are typically delivered within 15 business days of active production time.
Production begins after all required intake information, product references, and brand materials have been received, reviewed, and accepted.
Add-ons, corrective work, delayed client feedback, replacement materials, or unusual product complexity may extend the delivery timeline.
Why are vertical adaptations offered separately?
Licensed motion assets are created in widescreen format as the foundation of the modular visual collection.
Vertical delivery requires separate reframing, composition adjustments, and quality review to preserve product prominence and visual integrity across mobile-first platforms such as Reels, Shorts, and TikTok.
Vertical adaptations of selected approved motion assets are available as quoted add-ons. Pricing depends on the number and complexity of the assets selected for adaptation.
Do you provide raw project files?
No. Clients receive completed export assets only. Source files, generation files, working files, prompts, and internal production materials are not included.
What is the refund policy?
Full refunds are available before the project has been accepted and active production has begun.
Production begins after all required intake information and product materials have been received, reviewed, and accepted by Still-Motion Studio.
Once production begins, the license becomes non-refundable because production capacity, scheduling, and digital-generation resources have been allocated to the project.
If Still-Motion Studio determines before production that the submitted product cannot be reproduced to the studio’s quality standard, the client may provide alternate materials, select another eligible product, accept a revised scope, or receive a refund.
USAGE & RIGHTS
What usage rights are included?
Standard World Licenses include perpetual, non-exclusive digital commercial usage rights for the completed licensed deliverables.
Included uses are websites, ecommerce, organic social media, paid digital advertising, email marketing, digital presentations, internal brand materials, and other digital brand-marketing applications.
Broadcast television, cinema, print advertising, out-of-home placements, packaging, resale, sublicensing, and expanded third-party usage are not included unless separately agreed in writing.
Are the licenses exclusive?
No. Standard Still-Motion Studio World Licenses are non-exclusive unless exclusivity is separately negotiated and confirmed in writing.
The client receives usage rights for its completed licensed deliverables. Still-Motion Studio retains ownership of the underlying Worlds, environments, production systems, and studio-created materials.
Can the licensed assets be shared with an agency or production partner?
A client may provide the completed licensed deliverables to its authorized advertising, marketing, media, ecommerce, or production partners solely for work performed on the client’s behalf.
This does not permit the agency or partner to independently reuse, resell, sublicense, distribute, or apply the assets to another client, brand, or product.
Can I edit or adapt the delivered assets?
Clients may crop, resize, sequence, add approved brand messaging, incorporate the assets into broader digital layouts, and make reasonable placement adaptations for their own licensed campaign use.
Alterations may not misrepresent the work, remove ownership information where applicable, create unlawful or misleading content, or transfer the assets for independent third-party use.
Substantial format adaptations or additional production by Still-Motion Studio may be requested as separately quoted add-ons.
Are extended usage rights available?
Yes. Additional rights may be available for broadcast, cinema, print advertising, out-of-home placements, packaging, expanded third-party use, or other distribution requirements outside the standard digital license.
Extended usage is reviewed and quoted according to the media, territory, duration, scale, and intended campaign application.
Can the licensed assets be resold or sublicensed?
No. Licensed deliverables may not be resold, sublicensed, transferred, placed into stock libraries, offered as templates, or distributed as standalone creative assets.
The license applies only to the purchasing client, its approved product, and authorized campaign use on that client’s behalf.
